Best Collaboration Beers

    I was a huge fan of Marron Acidifie from the Bruery and Cigar City and I loved Collage with Deschutes and HOTD. There are a lot of amazing collabs out there though.

    Dayman would be up there.

    And believe it or not, I really enjoyed Urine Trouble on tap at the Surly Tap Room. I know its not that highly rated on here, but it was damn good when it was fresh.

    I've found very few collabs that I enjoyed.
    Marron Acidifie (Bruery and CCB) and Elaborative #1 (Hill Farmstead, Jackie Os and Crooked Stave) are the only standouts I can think of

    My favourite so far Deschutes & Great Lakes 'Class of 88 Imperial Smoked Porter'

    and I was impressed by Shmaltz & Terrapin 'Reunion Ale '13 - a Beer for Hope

    Brian "Spike" Buckowski of Terrapin Beer Company (Athens, GA USA) and Kjetil Jikiun of Nogne O (Grimstad, Norway) brew a collaborative Imperial Rye Porter in February of 2012 at the Nøgne Ø brewhouse.

    Was anyone (un)lucky enough to try the Collaboration beers that were made on the "Brew Dogs" TV show on Esquire? Some of them sounded down-right nasty.

    Off the top of my head, they were:

    Stone - Kelp / Chili IPA
    Anchor Steam - Fog / Tea Ale
    Victory - Declaration of Independence Pilsner
    Elysian - Coffee Chocolate Imperial Stout
    Oskar Blues - Cactus / Meat Pale Ale
    Deschutes - Fresh Hopped / Blackberry Berliner Weisse
    Sam Adam's - Clambake Ale
