Are there any?? I've been a craft chaser for only about 2 years so I know there is a lot I've missed. So just wondering if there is something brewed or previously brewed in the state that others would trade an arm and a Hopslam for.

Edit- I don't want a Hopslam, just thought it was clever to say.

Last I checked Jester King Atrial Rubicite was trading VERY well and, Karbach FUN Series will get you goodies as well.

If you're dealing with West Coast folks, Offer some Founders...East Coast folks, Deschutes.

By Whale, you mean rare AND good right? Aurelian Lure maybe (for now until they make more). AR is very good, but it's still available at the brewery.

I'm doing pretty well taking bottling equipment every time I go and have a Live Oak Hefe... I just pour my pint into a bottle(after taking a couple of sips to get the levels right), cap it... and instant trade whalez..... I'll be doing this for Primus now that it is hitting also. For now, my hand written sharpie labels are fooling people.

I thought Whalez meant a good and sought after beer. Why is that a d-bag question?

It does refer to a sought after beer. It's only a d-bag question because your post comes across as if your only interested in these Whalez beers to use them for trade bait.

There are way to many excellent beers made in this state, and from regional breweries as well, that sit on the shelf to care about such things.

    ???

I just thought it would be fun to talk about the beers produced in Tx that those is less fortunate states wanted. Guess not, oh well.

    Cheers.

Nobody here trades or buys into the hype. What were you thinking? Just ask them on Friday. They'll be in line with everyone else looking for BCBS and whatever else Specs in Houston has been holding back. Oh and all bottle shares in TX only have TX shelf beer because, again, we don't trade or buy into hype...

I prefer coy but cheeky works. Really it depends on the tone with which you read it. It could go coy or cheeky depending on the voice and diction you've assigned me. Odds are pretty good the random internet voice you assigned me isn't good either way. Probably sounds like the dumb voice I've given all my dogs when I'm speaking as if I was one of them...
