Austin Black Friday

HEB McNiel and Parmer had several on the shelf. Bought 2 4packs at 17.49 ea. No sign of limits.

 

I think it will be around for a couple of days.. you might have to hunt it down though, it looks like a lot of places got it.

 

Gonna brew up some of that intelligentsia coffee and make a cuvee haha

Yea seriously...not hard to find today. Some places aren't selling it til next week (something about how it's not in the system yada yada)...at least that's what I was told, so should be plenty to go around

 

The specs I went to was small but it was dead. Whole foods on 183 has it as well.

 

Several HEBs just had cases on the floor, no limits. Let's just say cases were purchased (not by me)

 

Any HEB's up north besides the plus on 620/Anderson mill?

 

Just cracked a BCBS and wow

HEB Plus in Round Rock (the one on 79 and the one on 620/O'Connor) both had cases on the floor this morning. Parmer/McNeil also had it. No idea if any of them still do.

 

If you shaved your beard and changed your clothes, you could probably pick up an extra 4-pack from the 1 limit stores. Let's see some commitment, Snow.

 

Got a four-pack at Specs Arborwalk and two bottles at Central Market, without waking up early like a crazy person. May wander over to the HEB on 79 in a bit to see if there's any still there.

 

There's still a bit at Whole Foods Lamar as of an hour ago. 2 bottle limit at Central Market. None at HEB-Hancock or HEB-Mueller.

 

Did anyone get any of the barleywine?

 

Employee at HEB on 79 said they're out of BCBS.

The barleywine is in limbo. Not approved by TABC yet.

Specs Brodie had some around 5:30 or so when I left Austin. Was 1 4-pack per person

it will warm the ol gullet up. a bit hot. I think I liked last years better fresh. to me it was a little more bourbon forward than this years fresh. maybe just me. Still drinks damn fine though

 

Any places worth checking out tomorrow? Hoping to come back to Austin late tomorrow. I figure it will be gone at most places. Feel free to PM.
