Are there any cheap BBA beers out there? I cannot afford to drink Sucaba, Parabola, or Uncle Jacob's stout every week!

The reality is, aging beer takes time + space in a warehouse, so there's added cost to making it.

New Holland Dragon's Milk ($9/bomber or $15/4pk) and Weyerbacher Heresy ($11/4pk) are the cheap BBA ones in my area, but if you're in Cali, you won't find them. You should be able to find Laughing Dog's BBA Dogfather, which is cheap ($6-8/bomber), but it's not very good, in my opinion - a sweet, sticky, boozy mess.

Some great beers that are at least partially wood aged and won't break the bank are Port Brewing Old Viscosity ($7-8/bomber), Great Divide's Oak Aged Yeti ($8-10/bomber), Dogfish Head's Palo Santo Marron ($12-15/4 pk), Greene King's Olde Suffolk English Ale ($4-5/500ml), and Cold Spring Brewing Company's John Henry 3 Lick Spiker Ale ($6-8/750ml or $9-10 a four pack). None of them are dirt cheap, and none are in the same league as a Parabola or a Bourbon County, but they're still pretty good and are in distro in at least some parts of California.

Backwoods is easily one of my favorite BBA's...if only it were year round.

Cockeyed Cooper by Uinta is pretty good, the bourbon notes are stronger when it reaches close to room temp for me. I normally found it for around $8 for 750ml.

At 3 bucks a bottle, I would even let some of my shitty friends drink some

Anderson Valley Bourbon Barrel Stout. Not too expensive at around $10. It's not in the same league as the beers you mentioned but it could satisfy your craving for BBAs and it's available

Dragon's Milk is cheap if they sell it in your area. Plus, I still think it can hang with beers that cost 2x or 4x as much. Depending on your palate, you might even prefer it.
