This stuff is only $8.99 for a bomber where I live and it's not bad at all. I realize that's not really ``cheap'', but for a bourbon-barrel-aged barleywine, it's quite reasonable...

Was just about to mention this one. It's pretty tasty. Goes for $7-$9 for bomber here in in OR.

Heavy Seas' barrel-aged beers are "cheap" compared to most at $7.99/bomber.

Port Brewing BA Santa's Little Helper is $7 a bomber and pretty widely available.

    Literally cheap substitutes:
I once poured 1/2 shot of Kahlua into a Guiness Foreign Extra and it tasted kind of like a BA stout. You could also try throwing some bourbon soaked oak chips into a growler before you get it filled. (No, I haven't done this!)

Anything that gets its "bourbon barrel aged" flavor from bourbon-soaked chips, spirals or whatever should be theoretically cheaper to produce. This one is fairly cheap, from what I remember.

Round Barn Oaked IPA is pretty cheap here. Not all that great though.

My advice is either get a new job or get a new hobby. But this is the shittiest of the shitty when it comes to barrel aged.
