Could be. They definitely did a markup here last year between the first and second wave of the BB Stout, and carried it through to the Peruvian Morning and Barleywine releases. And the Scotch Ale *might've* been $13.99 on second thought -- it was enough to make me pause and stick to two 4-packs.

I don't doubt it...everyone wants their cut. But hey, compare to bomber costs and its still a steal. Everyone has to justify prices to their likes so stand your ground. I'll still be filling a cart of CW BB beers and best of all, without a line or a fight. Hope you can still enjoy the brew-Cheers!

Heh -- I've still got a few packs of 2011 and nearly a case of 2012.

Awesome! I'm hoping I can find someone with a 2010 or 2 BB stout so I can put a vertical together. As of September, the '11 was tasting great so I'm curious.

Drinking one right now, just picked up a few 4 packs. It is actually a little hot, I might hold on to 3 of the 4 packs for around 6 months before trying it again, I have 4 4packs of the 12 still so that ought to hold me. Do not get me wrong it is still very, very good.

Give me Peruvian Morning any day over this beer. Too much booze and barrel influences for my tastes.

Do you like your beer infected . Serious question though, what is the difference between cw fifteen and 16?

Different beer, in different barrels, for a different amount of time.

16 was aged 2 years in older barrels than 15 (i dont remember the vintage I think it was closer to 20 though, 1414/15 were 14 year)

I don't know about the rest of you, but I notice a distinct off flavor (dry? leathery?), on the finish especially, on this year's batch. I just had it on tap locally, and there's the same thing with the 4-pack that I've purchased. I know they aged it for less time in barrels this year, due to bourbon barrel scotch ale production, but I don't think that's the issue. And this is normally my favorite beer. I guess I'm just suggesting that you all try a bottle before you decide to buy a whole bunch.
