This is not worth it at all. I would seriously consider BA Wheatwine at that price, but that's about it from them.

It's just way to damn expensive. I just can't see paying that much for this beer. It's really good, but not $25 good

It's a better beer than some of these BA FFF beers a lot of us drop $30 on. I think the price is good. Not to mention this place is in Birmingham.

Does anyone know if this is the same as their "Flying Buffalo Bourbon Imperial Stout"? If so, had this a few weeks back and really enjoyed. Not worth this price, but good.

Side note....just picked up a 4 pack of 16oz cans of Norm's Raggedy Ass IPA for $7.99. For the price, heck of a deal for this IPA

I have no problem dropping 20-30 on a beer, especially a sour, but GC is completely overpriced on a few things. But they know what they're doing obviously.

    $25 seems ambitious.

At that price point, it better be twice as good as BCBS. And I find it funny that I'd have no problem paying $25 for a beer from Warren but have reservations about spending that on a beer from Birmingham.

Sorry to rephrase my prior question but is this their "Flying Buffalo Bourbon Imperial Stout" or is this a different beer?

LOL. You know, I enjoy a number of Griffin Claw Beers - but their pricing is laughable. More power to them - but they price their stuff like we're privileged to drink it. I understand they're trying to recoup their huge initial investment, but their economics are just way off.

Perhaps the super expensive brewery / taproom in Birmingham wasn't the best idea. Food is average at best, and the beer is way over-priced.

I'd love to support them more, but they make it difficult to do so.

I love that they're already demanding the premium some Breweries who have been around for years are charging on their first bottled released.

Long gone are the days of $2 Happy Hour Specials at Big Rock. Long live the pricing structure and gouging that Jason and the Clubhouse BFD tools go for.

Pricey, but a damn fine beer. Not sure I can swing that with the beer release madness this month and November.

    Same beer.

It's because they think everyone knows about Dan Rogers & his reputation. I think he makes some terrific beers, but most beer there is above average. By no means am I cheap, but I just refuse to overpay for beer like this. I haven't been in clubhouse in over a year because of how expensive it is.

Clueless from the start - pretty much sums up that. Looking forward to the average inflation - how long until we get $30 bottles and $15 12oz's like it's a HOTD ...from the wood release.

Sorry Dan, that $25 is going toward 4 Elf/Winter Solstice.

I know what cost is on beer & understand profit margin, overhead, etc. I understand squeezing a tad more out of things OCCASIONALLY, but not everyday.
And my $80+ will go to kuhnhenns on their cherry sour. I loved their okay in the hays, so I can't see this being a let down
