With it being May, I'm sure plenty of BA's out here are graduating something -- be it college or professional school or whatever. So here's the question: What are you graduating from and what are you drinking to celebrate it?

I'll start it off: Law School and a "horizontal" of Black Albert Batch 0, Kate the Great and Kabert.

My girlfriend and I will be drinking a DFH Fort after her graduation tomorrow. And probably chasing it with several each of Victory Summer Love and Troegs Sunshine Pils as we grill out. Nothing too fancy, as we're not really into the whole "whales" thing (and also have no money) Hopefully the weather cooperates.

When I graduated from College (2010), I opened a 3L of 2006 Chimay Grande Reserve, then made it into a lamp. When I graduate with my master's degree in a year, I will open a 3l of 2008 Chimay Grande Reserve, and I will make it into a lamp. Big bottles of favorite beers that are old and can be made into household items make great graduation beers.

I really enjoyed Summer Love last year, nice to hear it's back on shelves again.

Unfortunately when I graduated, I wasn't really into craft beer. I did have Bud Light and Blue Moon kegs flowing at my party though :sunglasses:

After I submitted my last paper of my undergrad (political science) nearly a month ago, I cracked a 2011 St-Ambroise barrel aged RIS. It was fantastic. The night of my grad ceremony in a few months, I will crack my first FW Sucaba. Looking forward to it!

My wife graduates veterinary school next week. So far we'll be enjoying a 2011 black tuesday, RR temptation (not sure the batch but I chose it because it was bottled the year she was accepted), live a rich life, 2011 darkness and a 2012 DL. And masala mama as we're having dinmer friday at Town Hall. Needless to say I'm excited!

My grad program technically finishes over the summer, but we'll all walk next Saturday. I hadn't thought about it, but I guess I should start stockpiling something special.

My program was teaching English language learners, so I'll take that as an excuse to load up on Belgians, Berliners/ Munichs, Czech Pilsners, Russian(IS)s, and I guess, every English style too

I'm graduating in June (BS Biochemistry) but I don't really have a special beer saved for it. Maybe I'll hold onto the Framboise de Amarosa I bought today and pop it open then.

I was hoping to graduate from the School of Hard Knocks this spring, but a few extra courses got added. However, I plan to have some beer anyway, probably a tasty growler of an IPA.

I am finishing my master's in a couple of weeks and will be hosting a tasting to celebrate. Not sure exactly what I'll be opening yet other than Rare, but most likely some combination of Chocolate Rain, Bullfrog Frambozen, Brooklyn Cuvee Elijah, and maybe a Brute or LeBleu vertical. The other guys coming will bring plenty of other good bottles as well
