Just spotted a bottled-on date on some Zombie Dust I just picked up. This is a first for me (this goes for all FFF brews). Anyone know how long they've been doing this? 9 days old!

I picked up some Alpha King (12oz) that was dated 12/3

I didn't see a bottling date on the Arctic Panzer, Moloko or Dreadnaught (22oz) I picked up though. I wasn't really searching for one though...I'll check tonight I guess.

I totally forgot this revelation was important!! Me so dumb

I had the same concern… then again most FFF IPAs don't tend to stick around the shelves too long (especially ZD) so I imagine they're typically pretty fresh.

From what I read, Zombie Dust doesn't need a date. Whatever they put on sale in the brewery sales room sells out and I imagine it's the same in stores.

Damn. Pimped again by a previous post.

I know in Chicagoland, this is absolutely true. Whenever I'm visiting my family there, no FFFs beers are ever on the shelf with the exception of maybe Pride & Joy.

However, in Indianapolis, for instance, the FFFs bombers tend to sit on the shelf FOREVER. Many a bad bottle of APW and Dreadnaught are sitting on shelves in central and southern IN.

I bought some ZD from a liquor store last week. It tasted old as shit. Like it had been sitting somewhere for 6-8 months. Never thought that would happen because Zombie Dust sells out immediately. Why the hell would the liquor store sit on it for that long?

could it have been the distributor allocating incorrectly and ended up being a 'warehouse find'?
