We went to Clybourn. The Cherry rye was gone in about 5 minutes.

I have heard at least one store say they were going to get some Bramble in but things may have changed. It sounded like they did. I think it's on some of the order forms but just because you order something doesn't mean you are going to get it. I'm sure many stores had the same experience as the distributors didn't know what they were going to get.

Hmm... considering they don't know the name of the beer, I'm not sure how much stock I would put in them.

I can assure you they know what they are talking about. They know the name of the beer. Just cause I shorted the name and said Bramble doesn't mean everybody shouldn't know what we were talking about. You sure did and given this guy runs a well respected shop and is the beer buyer. I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Edit: Looking at the bottle I guess it doesn't say Bramble but just Backyard Rye. It seems everybody has been referring to it as Bramble. Maybe I'm just delusional?

I had a Propietors show up today with no problems as well. It was really really cold though when I took it out of the box. I was sweating all day today when I found out it was delivered.

Welcome to the Midwest forum. We're known for taking things too seriously and being passive aggressive.

Saga doesn't get enough credit, especially when we're talking about barrel aged stouts.

I know, right? How many barrel aged stouts can you get in a 12-pack at this price?

I still think that Saga should be an official unit of currency for the Midwest forum.

"Abrasive for 16.99 at Heritage Liquor" doesn't tell me shit.

"Abrasive for 17.00417014178482 Sagas at Heritage Liquor" tells me what I need to know.

If it catches on, it could be the official currency of the MN beer scene.

You can open saga and drink it. It maintains it's trade value open or closed.
