Implying that Foothills brews low quality beer within a foothills release thread demonstrates poor judgement on your part, this thread was created to get us locals pumped up for our traditional sexual chocolate release and bottle share!
I only mention DA because I'm pretty sure you frequent the Jackie o's releases, so foothills would probably be easier to criticize since its non-local to you, plus the fact that sexual chocolate rates higher than dark apparition may expose your bias, but that truly is beside the point. I would never jump into a non-local release thread, criticize the beer being released and not expect to get called on it. Everyone has their preferences, but sometimes things are best left unsaid. I think we all know who won't be in attendance when foothills releases BB Vanilla Sexual Chocolate! Right?

@CarolinaKevin, I meant that the bottle share is epic. The SC is great as well, now if this were BASC then I would be going for the beer and the bottle share.

Hopefully better times this go around that waiting at the airport for a rental car...

I've never had it (or the Bourbon Barrel Sexual Chocolate). As much I love Foothills, no beer is worth standing in line for. I know a lot of people go for the social aspect and bottle shares, but I guess that just isn't my thing. However, I hope it makes it my way and gets put on draft. I would love to try it or have a bottle.

So you wouldn't go stand in line at your local shop for any beer that was on sale? Hmmmmmm......

Have you ever done it? If you go with some good friends it will be one of your most memorable experiences of the year. You will not regret it. And if you do it's because of the hang over, and not the actual event.

This was more like wishful thinking on my part:grinning:, although it would move the meter

I agree 100%. I've had the pleasure of partaking in 5 Foothill's releases. I've met online Friends that I had never met in person there, had some amazing bottle shares with old and new Friends, not to mention picking up some great brews. To say that "I won't wait in line for beer", you simply miss the point. It is an epic event that every beer nerd/snob/casual drinking person should experience at least once (then your ass will be hooked) in their life. I plan on being there Friday night for the pre release bottle share in the back and getting in line about 4 a.m. for the line bottle share and indoor bottle share starting @ 8 a.m. Looking forward to seeing my GREAT old Friends and meeting new ones as well. Nuff said ! Cheerz from RedNeckBeerz

Shame on the date ... I already have something on the books at noon on 2/1. Y'all have fun. Maybe I'll see some draft in Raleighwood.
