    FYI, found the owner...

Now if someone would just come forward and admit to having taken the two camp chairs I had in the beer garden until around 10AM (somewhere in the 9-10AM range is the last time I saw them)... that would be swell

As much as a ticketed release may "suck"....at least people won't have to wait in line for hours at a time only to miss out on what they were in line for in the first place. I know you guys will say that the bottle share is the best part and I agree it's awesome, but we're in line for the bottle release...not the share. We can bottle share anywhere...like in a warm hotel room the night before after fully knowing that we will have no problem getting our full allotment of bottles with the ticket that we purchased months before while sitting on our couch, instead of freezing our ass off in a line for hours. Not to mention being able to enjoy the party after a full nights sleep instead of hitting a wall at 7pm after being up in line all night.

IMO waiting in line is much more of a "roll the dice" that buying a ticket online. At least online you know right away and don't waste you entire day (or night) in line.

Sorry for the rant. Enjoy your beers fellas. See ya at winter solstice...

Craft beer events - the only time a woman is not at the center of a fight.

Would like more details on this, more interesting than 90% of the rest of this. Or immobilizing can keep sharing cool things he does. Either way.

666 was fucking disgusting. How any one can enjoy that is beyond me. Donut was off. Brandy 4elf and the anniversary were decent. Top fuel was surprisingly good, but not great. Where the Wild Things Are was amazing. Only $7 for a great raspberry lambic in 375s? YES PLEASE. Thank you Lambeaks for stopping people from buying theirs. I picked up more bottles of that. So good.

What he said. See, e.g., DLD. Tickets AND great bottle shares (of both the hotel and line variety).

Kudos to Dark Horse for making the bottle release even better and more organized. Unfortunately due to roads back in SE Michigan and a 12 week old puppy that needed to be fed, we had to leave shortly after I got my order. I noticed a lot of people like me were only getting one case of BBPT5th this year and I was #228 in line. All in all it was a great party, what I could enjoy of it, as usual.

Anybody have any idea the latest you could arrive and still get a full allotment? I was one of the idiots who waited overnight (#35). Needless to say, I doubt I'll be going next year if it's going to take waiting overnight in 20 degree weather again to get bottles.

I heard something like a 3:30AM arrival was about #280 in line or so.

I thought 666 was amazing. I'd put it on par with plead, personally. Where the wild things are was a decent surprise, I actually liked them both so much I went back and bought more of them when the orders got filled and they opened up the purchasing line. To each their own I guess.

I arrived at about 4:00 a.m. and had #327. Full allotment. It looked like a there were still a lot of orders still to fill inside when I left.

Thanks for the link. It showed it in Marshall as of 6pm, but then the battery must have died. If anyone ended up finding it let me know. Thanks!!

Had an awesome time and was great meeting a few people on here...OTHER than Plead (2012/13) I loved the Sarsaparilla 666..Wish I would have got bottles...

I also thought the Anniversary Beer was pretty darn good...With that said, the beer contained nuts and for them not to say that could have really "hurt" people with nut allergies...

I thought it was incredibly smooth running while I was there...But I totally understand people wanting it to be ticketed...

Also, the amount of people hung over from the night before made me snicker..lol

    Backyard Rye
    BA Cereal Killer
30 year old Mead re-fermented with cherries.

A bunch of other stuff as well. The couple guys in line next to me shared some really good doughnuts with me. Though by the time i finished the doughnuts, it was partially frozen haha.

That was a great time, but I'm not getting into line at 1am to wait again. Ended up in the 160s. I was going to sleep all the way till 5 then get in line, but some of the people showing up to our hotel bottle share were reporting the line to be 100+ strong at 11pm so we decided to just go for it.

Why would you take it? Was it yours? No. Then leave it the fuck alone or turn it into the brewery.
