Four Elf Party

We all know he was searching for BA PT5.

 

He said he picked it up "after everyone was gone."

Cursing at people who try to do nice things, and who actually accomplished the goal of getting it back to the owner, is quite rude.

 

This makes no sense as it was covered in snow where the line was. Unless… BBPT5 from the future? ISO BBPT5 2014.

 

I was going to stop by and say hi but too drunk and exhausted. We were kind of near you just outside the beer garden

 

I can trade 2 four packs of 2014 BBPT5th for some 2015 BCBS Rare.

 

I got in line at midnight and ended up with number 173..... had I known I could have shown up an hour later and actually ended up closer to the front, I would have done so. No harm done and I got everything I was looking for and had a great bottle share with folks. Cheers Dark Horse!

That is weird. Either I ended up getting moved forward within the group at the end or you somehow moved backwards in your group at the end.. or I am just confused about the time we came into line up. It wasn't the most organized place between 5:50-6:10 in the morning that's for sure. At the end of it though, it was a great time! Especially watching my friends drunkenly stumble away with the order forms and having to chase them down to make them wait until we could turn them in.

 

I enjoyed the event immensely, while I think the line situation could have been a little better, along with the false information and confusion caused by the folks at DH, the bottle pick up went very smooth and the bottle share was beyond epic. All the heat and lighting DH put up was a warm and welcome addition as well. If not for moving down south, I know I would come again, it was a blast!

Agreed! Line situation was the only negative that I saw. Bottle pickup was super smooth & great beers on tap to be had

 

Starting to get in line at 10p was not ideal but it was still fun. Great line share and smooth bottle pick up was a definite plus.
Loving the beers and great seeing a lot of people again.

 

I had an absolute blast. Got in line way too early, saw a phenomenal shitshow, got all the bottles I wanted, raged it at the party and met a TON of great BAs. I heart 4elf, just wish they'd go tickets for at least BBPlead next year.

 

Anybody there today? Or is everybody, including the Dark Horsers too hung over?

My thought on next year. online ticket ala darklord, $5-10 charge gives you option to buy a case of plead. Each ticket has a number 1-??? Which allows you to buy other bottles when picking up your plead, numbers are assigned randomly and printed on ticket that is mailed to you. Name must match ticket. Thoughts?

 

No cold shoulder intended. There was a lot going on and I was tired/drunk as could be.

 

I feel like my lack of presence has driven some riffs between Michigan Craft Beer factions...We'll sort this all out at Winter Beer Fest folks, don't worry.
