    sour porter, for a long time I thought that was a waste of a porter

    yes there is bourbon here but you gotta pay real close attention
    without the label and asked to review I'd say it was aged in chardonnay barrels with considerable red grape skins
    nonetheless I like it a lot but pissed about the bourbon thing
    feels like they didn't meet their goal but the labels were already printed

    I'm an Almanac believer
    its got as much funk as Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five
    put that on your label

    Love me some Sixpoint. In fact, I haven't had a bad beer from them. Not a Pilsener fan exactly, but love their Crisp in the summer.

    New XHops Pale Ale (red label) from Toppling Goliath. Bottled Friday.

    Immediate tropical fruits, like guava and papaya, up front changes to grapefruit pith mid palate. Finishes with a very lingering, earthy bitter dankness.
