    TASTE OFF: Between my #1 APA: Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale 4.5 & Troegs Pale Ale 4.05.
    Dales     is better looking, hoppier, and more pine-citrus. But these are both delicious APAs, here's my review of Troegs which is a MUST TRY!

    Troegs Pale Ale 4.05.
    12 oz bottle. Poured into a .roomy 5l cylinder glass.

    A: Copper, golden, perfectly colored for APA bright beer. a pale hue with medium white head. Retention is strong. Much lacing. Almost as PRETTY as DALES PALE ALE.

    S: approachable bread & citrus. floral. cantaloupe and rind.

    T: Taste is similar to the nose. floral, while still remaining bitter as it arcs. orange peel. sweet, then trending to nice clean bitter finish. amen on the finish!

    Some orange peel. Nicely balanced, between sweet and bitter, and nice arc change on the palate that characterizes great APA like this and Dales Pale Ale. ... has both sweet and bitter with a wonderful lasting tension between them like a kiss.

    M: Strong carb. well suited weight. medium body. weighty, yet refreshing. Very tingly as per the APA signature style.

    D: A great APA up there with Dales Pale Ale. Wish this also came in cans!

    Will definitely order again, and at 5.4% not too heavy, easy to session. Great early beer, before dinner beer, outdoor beer. Recommended among their best.

    Returned to this again and loved it again. Upped my review.

    I love this beer! I like how the dark roasted malts are in the background enough to add depth. It seems to me that Maine B.C. can't do nothing wrong. Except the pricing on their pints. But I'll get over it!
