Four Elf Party

No, we are talking about the group that showed up at about 4:30, bitched about the drive, socialized with other people and then when DH said 'clean up your tents', they stayed and acted like they were there the whole time with the tasting group up front, even when confronted. It was disrespectful of everyone else and good reason why these types of people are despised.

We are clearly not talking about the same group of FIBs. They were talking about how shitty the drive in the snow was and that they just got there. Not really hiding the fact that they just showed up at all.

I'm not sure how being a veteran or 82 years old applies to anything here or why that justifies cutting. The dude he was shouting at is an early 40s Afghanistan war vet but he went to the end of the line when he showed up.

 

I was literally the 3rd person in line. I had been drinking and meeting the first 10 to 12 people in line all night as well as venturing deep into the garden on multiple occasions. We had several people stop by up front thru out the night to bottle share and Bullshit. I know when the order forms were handed out, they went to the same people I had been drinking and hanging out with all night with the exception of Chuck who showed up at around midnight. And the guys in front explained everything long before he even got there. As I said, 82, War Veteran. I would hope nobody has a problem with that.

 

That is truly amazing.

Standing inline from 3:45-6 wasn't that bad I was #302 shared some beers with people standing near by. Great people and conversation. Took a break and returned to drink, eat and pick up bottles. I think everything was handled very well, It was nice being inside the production facility, I assumed it would be outside for some reason. The girls walking by with exotic foods was a treat too, although I'm not quite sure what water mammal was under that brussel sprout. The music was good as well! I'd attend next year just gotta be ready to get up early and put yer pants on.

I have a huge problem with that. Any veteran knows what standing in line is all about and none should expect special treatment. I called him out and he tried to ball up on me like he was entitled to something while the gal he was with flat out lied about just socializing. You want to be in a line that means something get in a fucking parade like the rest of us. Otherwise for beer? Not going to cut it.

 

Glad I stopped by this evening. Next year's 4 Elf is going to be so much easier when I roll in with my bus full of mules from the VFW at 5:55. The couple cases of Old Style it'll cost me will be well worth the free pass to the front of the line.
