Cream Ales. Granted, I've only had one (Anderson Valley' Summer Solstice)...gross, gross, gross. It turned me off of trying any more in that style...

I hate black IPAs but as a Texan I approve of your love of burnt ends! Those are the best.

I've yet to meet a quad I've fallen head over heels for. Really not loving any scotch ale I've tried so far either. Really those dark-fruit malt flavors just don't do it for me. Except for in Old Ales, I love Ola Dubh and Old Stock.

    OMG PECAN LODGE.

Apologies for the non-beer post. I've rather enjoyed the Black IPA's I've had, but I haven't had many. Wookey Jack and Iniquity were both quite tasty in my book.

Hopefully the move to deep ellum will mean I don't have to wait in line for two hours on my lunch break...

Back to beer, I have to try Iniquity. I was so excited for their beer and hated Pumking and Warlock haaaaard so I'm biased against them but I will give them another whirl.

Barleywines, anything too hoppy, (triple IPA , double IPA)

Rauchbier (though I'm curious to see if this has changed)
Porter (if I'm going dark I'm going big and dark. plus, a creamy low abv oatmeal stout will outdo a roasty porter for me every single time)
Sours are interesting to me, I've had one or two and am sitting on a few more. Not sure how I feel about it, very wine-like though and don't taste like beer.
Browns, Ambers, and most lagers are lumped together for me in the fact that I've never had one that blew my mind. These styles aren't offensive to me though and I'm open to having one blow me away.

Many different stouts because I have a low iron threshold, Reds or ambers which are not brewed with interesting malts or are too sweet and not hoppy enough, American adjunct lager crap because it gives me a hangover, overly alpha hopped beers which are lacking in actual hop oils and aroma.

fruit beers (American style), flavorings that really clash or dominate like vanilla and coconut, flat/oxidized English styles

I should know not to judge a book by it's cover, but I've been inspired by the "Least Favorite Style" thread here. The other day I was browsing BA and found "Bourbon Sour Porter" by Almanac Brewing and by god if that's not the grossest sounding beer I can imagine. Strong roast from porter, big vanilla and oak from bourbon, and sour? Yuck, I don't think I'd buy it even if it were dirt cheap. Just too much clashing of flavor.

Honorable mention goes to Tart of Darkness. Granted, I haven't tried it, and it's probably amazing. I just love my imperial stouts and can't imagine making one sour on purpose.

What's the one beer you heard of or saw and were immediately turned off of?

This. Apparently, they toss an entire margarita pizza into the mash... blech.

I forget the actual name, but it's a (smoked?) stout brewed with "rocky mountain oysters"... bull's testicles.

I enjoyed the Tv show Brew Dogs quite a bit, but going from memory, I think a few of the beers they brewed sounded gross to me (one with kep, one with oysters and lobster, etc..)

Most Belgian Pales and almost anything that's wheat. There are exception for both, but for the most part I don't like most. I do keep trying them though.

Preetty much any that say "Organic" - usually taste just wet. Although I did find one from Jester King that was passable.
