    Ok this is where marketing gets me again. Trying out Robinsons Brewery's Trooper! This beer smells like banana nut bread, with a hint of earthiness. The flavor is meh and there is an aftertaste of day old iced tea.

    Haha, hadn't noticed that! I think the plan was to only use plastic cups to save the washing up but once all 100 of those were used up we moved onto the posh stuff.
    Don't think a plastic cup is really the ideal vessel to properly showcase Westy...

    I was pleasantly surprised to see that Green Flash is here in Wyoming now, so I picked up a 4 pack of West Coast IPA and a bottle of Palate Wrecker. I am currently enjoying the Palate Wrecker, listening to Neil Young, and waiting for the Lions game.

    Moving on...to more ``leftovers'' from Friday's tasting (hey, as long as they're sellin' it, I'm buyin' it!).

    Now drinking An Ale Pleasure from my growler. It's a collaboration beer from Against the Grain and To Øl, a 12%ABV imperial rye stout aged in rye whisky barrels.

    Rich flavors that remind me of ``The Abyss'' (minus a little bit of creaminess on the feel), plus a hint of briny, peaty smokiness.
