    Joey said they are saving Velvet Merkin, Southern Charred/Crime/Punishment, Funk Metal, and something else..can't remmber what until "probably after the craziness of the holidays dies down."

    I just found Ol Oi at the Whole Foods on Kirby. No Abyss yet, Merkin gone. He only r/c one case of Ol Oi. Do it!

    Meh... skip it. The champagne yeast they use in it ruins a perfectly good barrel-aged beer. I've tried for the last 3 years on this one... drinking it fresh, drinking it aged, drinking it on my head (not really). It's just not that good. I don't get the fascination and probably never will.

    For anyone in the Woodlands area. The HEB on 1488 had 1 case of Crime and Vanilla smoked porter sitting in their cases when I was there around 4pm

    I was pleasantly surprised by the vanilla smoked porter. Nothing mind-blowing, but the vanilla was very present and I appreciated that.

    Crime, on the other hand... yowsa. It was actually very tasty if you enjoy peppers, and a well-crafted beer. However, it was extremely painful to drink, and took some time and effort.
