Stout BIF Round 2 - Hints

Walked into my house after 14 hours of work and saw two good sized boxes sitting in the front room. I got extremely excited until I picked one up and it felt pretty light, look at the side of the box "Amazon." Dammit!

Here's the haul after meticulously removing each bottle from it's supremely well-packed box. Zach (pimpinmidget) uses all the tricks, bubble wrap w/ tape, ziplock bags, and small pill bottles filled with screws and caps. The breakdown is coming...hoping to give the East-coaster's a happy ending to their Friday night.

 

I got pimped hard, now I gotta do work. But, this was borderline assault. I'm all for keepin' yo hoes in check, but this straight up broke me. Looks like I've got a couple years on my back indebted to Pimpinmidget before I can make it on my own.

As much as I would love boxes from pimp I am so he's in NC and will prob never have me as a target. My wife would kill me!!! But pimp if your anywhere around Charlotte/ Concord area I would love to meet up for a drink when I come down for work next. In the area 4 times a year. Next meeting is in march.

 

Ha, same feels. However, I should probably offer up my wife to him for 48 hrs. or my 1st born daughter. What a dick!

 

Fock. Packages made it as far as the local facility this morning, but no 'out for delivery' status. Hoping that with the pacing they did just not get scanned and still arrive today, but chances are it'll be either Monday or Tuesday delivery.

 

Same here, I would be stoked for a haul like that but my girlfriend would kill me haha

@LGB362 very cool you liked the box. Was hard w our distros so similar, or yours better for that matter haha. But I'm super happy you liked your selection. I thought I had a mbc peeper in there......maybe that went elsewhere . Cheers man.

Thanks again @CTJman for the boxes! You did great! Since our distro was so similar, I realize that you traded for some out-of distro brews. I greatly appreciate the obvious effort and the awesome beers you scored for me!

No peeper, but I did find a lunch! I'm sipping one of the ~15% BCBS's now, so there's a good chance I missed something. I'll dig through the boxes again tomorrow when I'm 100% sober to make sure I didn't miss anything...

According to FedEx my target should have his boxes on Christmas Eve!

For the few in this thread that are friends on Untappd (RustyP...feel free to add me), I checked in to a beer last night that my target will be getting in his box.

Final Hint: my target has known all along

PS - dear target, the growlers in your box are going to be a little over a week old when you get them, but no need to worry. Both were purged and bottom-filled, and the beer inside isn't something you really have to drink super fresh. I recently kept a growler from the same place for 2.5 months before opening, and it was still perfectly carbonated. Cheers!

Oh yeah, my Untappd name is mtleighton if anyone is interested. This was an interesting experience for my first BIF.
