    :grinning: Good morning everyone. I just stopped over here now because today is going to be very busy and I may not get the chance later. My creme fraiche has achieved proper thickness. (what a relief) My roast needs to be tied, my mousse whipped, my potatoes and vegetables scrubbed.

    Just cracked open my bottle of Jack's Abby's Jack's Evil Brew (Schwarzbier collab with Evil Twin).

    I confess myself underwhelmed (which is an extreme rarity with JA). It's not bad....it's just not great, which is unusual for Jack's Abby. A tad watery.

    Oh well...they can't all be zingers. Still one of my favorite breweries.

    Strike that....as this warms, it becomes a thousand times better. Still a little thin on the mouthfeel for me, but the nuttiness and roastiness on this one start to shine after 5-10 minutes of warming.

    Fried egg w/ 2 strips of bacon 'tween a coupla slices of bread. Nuttin fancy, just good. Oh, and a nice stout from Left Hand called Wake up Dead. Lordee, I need an iPhone to post a pic. Maybe I can get my old Polaroid Swinger to do sumpin'.
