stores were limiting FBS to 1 (bottle) per person? Now stores are literally drowning in the cases that are sitting on the floor...oh, the irony! If only that would happen with BCBS lol
Not Austin but Specs on Bissonnet had cases just sitting on the floor last time I was in a few weeks ago..
Dallas Specs, Dallas Total wine, Plano Specs etc has more than 20 cases on the floor last time I went by...Dallas Specs especially is swimming in them...
Well I'm sure they will sell it just fine since it's seasonal and about to go away. But yeah I see it everywhere. More than I see the porter.
I don't remember stores limiting it, but I certainly remember having to trade for it! I even remember my first, on a business trip to PA. It's such a good beer. Being a seasonal, I have to remember to pick up a few more six packs.
This is why I asked if we needed an entire thread dedicated to finding FBS, but I guess in the SW forum the first thought for any new beer is "release thread!"
I've seen it at some HEB's recently... this is good.... I need to pick up one more four pack before it is all gone. Would love to reach this point on BCBS. I never even saw a 4 pack of it anywhere. I did have it on tap twice.
I've seen it on the floor and in coolers for months. Hopefully IRS sits as well. Any price points on IRS?
Should be the same amount, and same price for FIS. Both sit everywhere else they are released, so there is no reason FIS should be limited as well. Just to pat myself on the back, that is what I said about FBS, and some people here laughed at that. I am so ...well not really.
Let's hope we get some clearance pricing. Wouldn't mind picking this up for $5 a 4-pack like some of those northerners do.
Your thoughts are silly. Release threads help my inherent laziness and lack of social skills on the telephone. To OP, it never happened here and I'm certain my local store will have 2013 FBS until, at least, the summer 2016.
