Yeah, it was released today as far as I know. I bought a case last year, but I don't think I will this year. I didn't drink it fast enough. I'll definitely get some, as I love it, but I'll be grabbing a six pack or two at most.

Sweet! Freakin' love this stuff. Will be buying a case for sure. OP you got it direct from the brewery? Anyone know if this is in stores yet?

Yes I got it right from the source. However I also saw it at the grocery stores this afternoon in sixers.

Does the brewery have it on draft too for growler fills?

I'm pretty sure that they did, yes, but I would give them a call to verify before heading up from DC if that was a plan.

Has anyone tried it yet this year? Last year's was terrible (in comparison to every other year prior). I am hoping they have everything figured out in their new building.

It was released in their 8 county home market (not exactly sure which counties that includes) today, and across the rest of PA the week of January 20th. The first week of February it will be available in NJ, MD, and DE. Then OH, VA, NY, and MA in mid-February.

That's according to their Facebook. They also said it's available in the tasting room at the brewery, so they're most likely filling growlers, though they didn't specifically mention that.

Just got back from the brewery. Tasted great on on tap, but I've only had last years to compare it to. $11 for a growler, $48 (45+tx) for a case.

Does anyone know if Philly is part of the initial 8 county release?

Pretty sure I've always paid $9.99 for Sucks at Total Wine and $13.99 for Nugget Nectar at Total Wine.

I don't imagine it is. I haven't heard anything from Gretz. Also haven't seen anything pop up in the area today. I'm expecting that we're part of the "2nd" release. Considering the way Mad Elf was allocated in SEPA, if Nugget Nectar is close to the same way, I'd grab a case (or two) the minute you see it.

Love this beer, one of the few cases of beer I buy ever year.

Both wholesalers for these regions started shipping on 1/6 so it should be all over these counties by week's end.

1/20 is the street date for the rest of the state.

Cue the 'It sucks again this year, not as hoppy, not juicy, has an odd taste' comments.

Drank two last night with a bottled on date of 12/27/13. They were told cold to begin with, but were great when they warmed up some. Hate on haters.

No, the farthest down south Troegs is distributed is Virginia.

They are 2 completely different styles Sucks is a Double IPA, while NN is a Amber/Red... both very hoppy beers though.
