How is that with a few months on it I just ordered 3 6ers and the guy said oh they quit brewing it so I had a hard time rounding it up so now I'm worried?

Wow! Better than Grassroots Brother

 

It's not what I was expecting. Might have something to do with it being a little frozen and having to thaw it out? Definitely had some "off" flavors in it.

 

Need to get in the mood for writing metal lyrics. Sadly this is the second to last of these. Conan goes all Belgian after a lot of heavy lifting, but in a good way.

A complimentary pour while testing the CO2 lines at FishEye Brewing Co. ( ) of Imperial Chocolate Vanilla Bourbon Porter also known as "HairyPorter 2" (Squared). I can smell the chocolate in this 9.2% monster from two feet away. Turned out really creamy in the texture with a nice blend of dark chocolate sweetness & bitterness, with vanilla and bourbon on the back end and a touch of smokiness. (You can see the vanilla particles sticking to the sides of the glass in the lacing.) Heavy medium to medium body and a little sticky with the ABV pretty well hidden - this is going to be a dangerous keg once the CO2 is dialed in.



(And waiting for my awesome wife to get home so we can crack a bottle of DeuS to celebrate our 20th Anniv tonight.)

Have you tried Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout?

 

My favorite Dubbel and one of my favorite beers.

 

Me too so many poblems where I had not had any before. Here is what my problem was. Use imgur, you need an account - a link to facebook is pretty easy and requires no new passwords and such. Then with you signed in it will give a link called Direct link (email and IM) You click on the mountains to the immdeiate right of the smiley face here on BA and it will open a window for you to paste that link . See easy as pi!

 

A much-deserved after-work Expedition while trying to fend off the 3-year-old.
