No, not at all, IMO. Brown Shugga is hoppy, but it's really sweet and a little boozy. It makes a good nightcap. Sucks is not a good intro IPA, if you're not already into hoppy beers.

Honestly, Brown Shugga and similar beers (Burton Baton, Lil One, Arrogant Bastard) are a pretty good way to introduce yourself to some hoppier beers without jumping straight into a DIPA. I like Sucks, but if you don't yet like hoppy beers, I'd wait. It should be year round, so you shouldn't feel the need to rush. :grinning:

    Cheers!

I'm still trying to figure out the popularity of "Sucks". It's not hoppy to me at all, and really doesn't float my boat, although I'll still drink it. It's certainly not bathwater...
    It's not hoppy enough!

I enjoy this Geuze. Was your bottle a little skunked? Mine there was a little skunk on the aroma but none in flavor. It was lemon pepper mixed with funk.

Makes sense though. It'll give that light bodied stout some more body and flavor.

You just can't go wrong with that fine Russian Imperial Stout. We have it around here for $8-9 a 4-pack.

Yes it is! I fish over by that sailboat (the white lights going up its masts) all the time during ice season. Everyone wants to fish the channel of the river , But I have fished that little corner area of the walk from shore and ice for years now and it always produces. It's my own little private honey hole, until the weekend warriors show up! I popped this hole and had a fish within a minute.
