Anyone had a chance to try this yet? I picked up a couple bottles and am really looking forward to it!

Not yet. The wife got me a bottle Friday and it wins a gold at WBC on Saturday. She's been out of town, so I'll finally get my hands on it tonight, though I probably won't drink it for a few more days. Very much looking forward to it.

I opened one of my bottles a couple days ago. I thought it was amazing. I'm a big fan of what Logsdon is doing out there in Hood River. It's not quite Fantasia but it still more than worthy. Plus, it just won a gold medal at WBC for American-Style Brett Ale.

Another win for Oregonians. A beer which wins gold but hasn't even been entered into the BA or Ratebeer databases.

(Though I guess we can't be yet accused of hyping it.)

Before I post in the trading forums, I am definitely ISO this. If anyone is interested in trading this for midwest stuff, please let me know.

While we can't be accused of hyping it yet, we will probably be accused of hoarding it all to prevent it from ever leaving the state.

Considered this and avoided starting a thread about it myself for that reason. Looks like the cat is out of the bag now though. You gotta love how "dark-of-night" this beer was released. Never heard of it until it was sitting on the shelf in front of me. After that WBC win it'll probably be gone in just a couple weeks.

I knew it was coming out soon but didn't know exactly when. Then I saw all the bottle shops around town start posting stuff on Facebook and Twitter about it. I know for sure that Bridgetown Beerhouse and Beermongers sold out on Friday. I'm sure the other shops' supplies didn't last much longer. I know Beermongers is getting a sixth barrel but I'm not exactly sure when.

Wild peach beers are always hot sellers so it doesn't surprise me that Logsdon's is selling so fast. Their previous success with the Seizoen Bretta gives good credibility too. That and the last peach beer here in Oregon was Fantasia. I think that caught a lot of peoples attention so the timing on the Peche 'n Brett is helping its sales. At $20 a 750ml it's moving very fast.

Does anyone know if this beer is distributed to WA?

    EDIT: Apparently not.

I really enjoyed the Seizoen Bretta too. I kind of wish the wild peach beers weren't such a hot commodity. Then that would mean more Fantasia and Peche 'n Brett for me

So does anyone know if this is in town anywhere? I need to get a bottle after hearing about it at Luke's the other day.

I visited Portland back in January and was really impressed with both Kili Wit and Seizoen Bretta. Since looking up the Logsdon Farmhouse website after I got home I've been looking forward to Peche 'n Brett and their upcoming Schaerbeekse beers. I haven't been an active trader, but if anyone could hook me up with a bottle of Peche 'n Brett I'd be happy to send some Midwestern goodness your way.

I hope someone helps you out. Your cat looks crabby.

    (Sorry.)
