What beer are you drinking now? #446

Only problem with your opinion is that it IS a ale, not a lager

 

Generally I don't love Short's beers as much as everyone else but this is might tasty.

 

Awesome, I'm going to see them for the first time ever (for me), opening for the killer combo of Enslaved/Amon Amarth!

 

That will be a great show!

 

for my next beer, and keeping up with my promise to "drink more Sierra Nevada," I'm trying this not-so-fresh-but-still-yummy Amber IPA

 

yeah, I'm real excited. I don't go to too many metal shows anymore, but I always make a point to see Amon Amarth when they come through town. This will be at least my 8th or 9th time seeing them. I've gotten to hang out with them a ton, backstage at B.B. King's in NYC was the most memorable...I was supposed to interview them for a metal webzine I ran but they got me drunk...by feeding me all of Testament's beers! lol, Chuck Billy was not pleased.

 

For the past friggin 8 days I have been sick as a muther @#%^$ dog... so badly need a beer, and FINALLY now get a chance to drink again.

So going to drink this muth @$@$#!! beer and enjoy it..

A couple of weeks old and very crisp, fresh, and delicious.

My first from Noble Ale Works. Loved the tropical aromas and nicely balanced palate.


Beer #3:

Another first for me. Had a nice amber tinge to the color and a spicy and hoppy character. Very good.
