One of my favorite styles for spring are Pilsners. My favorites are Prima Pils and Noble Pils from Sam Adams. What are your favorite Pilsners you like and are worth trying? (Also- I am throwing all types of Pilsners into this discussion)

    Boooooo.... pilsners? Gross.

Can we get this thread removed, it has nothing to do with hop juices in my face or Imperial Stouts that taste like straight up Whiskey.

I like the Noble Pils which is easy to find when it's on store shelves, but less easy from non-Michiganders is Short's Pontius Road Pilsner. That's a very good one.

I'd love to try some good German pilsners, but by the time they get off the boat and make their way to Michigan I have to believe that they are anything but fresh. :slight_frown:

That would f-ing rule! I like that one better than Sly Fox (although not by much), and having it in cans would make it just that much better.

My #1 fave these days is Weihenstephaner, though.

I'm big fan of prima, sunshine, and noble pils too, but I just had Southern Tier's Euorotrash Pils. Exceptional.

I would love to try pivo pils as I imagine its good. I bet that nomad pils from great divide would be tasty too.

I'm really enjoying Dogfish Head Piercing Pils. I think the pear works really well with the pilsner flavor profile. It's subtle, but really nice. Also look for anything from Jack's Abby. They have some imperial pilsners that have the hop profile of an IPA/DIPA. Really top notch if you can get them.

Well somebody had a birthday in 5-6 months. Maybe they will get some homebrewed Pilsners even better than those on that list!?!

    Cheers!
