    Something incredibly not special -- just a random lager my dad picked up at a Coop in Italy (super market). I guess it's a landmark, I'd rank it as one of the 5 worst beers I've ever had! Carbonation too low for the style, and sweeter than most any American adjunct lager I've tasted. (Drinking this from a bottle, not a can.)

    Oh God...I lived in Florence for a little while this previous year, and every time I saw that beer I cringed (for reference to those who don't know it, this can costs about 30 cents in Europe). I had a buddy there who would drink anything, and I mean anything, EXCEPT for this! If you've gotta go cheap in Italy, you've gotta go with Birra Moretti.

    In other words, I'm sorry for your taste buds right now. RIP.

    My dad's the cheapest person I know, byfar. He's picked up other adjunct lagers and the like from Italy, so I'm not surprised. He claims "A beer there costs as much as a bottle of world class wine." I didn't believe it when he said it, and I certainly don't believe him now.

    But yes... that was truthfully an awful beer.
