    I'm certainly not ruling out that some folks have much more sensitive palates than me, but there are so many environmental factors (food, mood, company, etc) that affect the way a beer tastes on any given day that I will only base my comparisons of different beers or vintages on head-to-head tastings, and I can tell you that '12 and '13 were pretty much identical for me and a BA friend.

    Next couple of years?! Wow..you DO have willpower..my philosophy: I bought a case but I'm drinking two out of six 4 packs. Will age 4. I might get hit by a bus tomorrow without drinking my next bottle of Founders:wink:

    Had a draft of 2011 last night. I cannot say I preferred it to this years. I think I prefer this one fresh.

    I've never had FIS, but my local distributor recieved 5 cases in today, and one of them has my name on it for pickup. Looks like I'll be enjoying some great beer tomorrow.

    I did a blind tasting of 6 popular imperial stouts. Agreed.

    Narwhal was in last place. Most boozy of the bunch.
