First update out on Facebook for the first release.
We will be sending out an email with the same info, a welcome, plans going forward, and big thanks.
Our apologies for the delay. The move to the new brewery has been a bit crazy, but we believe it will allow us to better care for guests at releases, as well as produce more and hopefully even better brew.

We moved about two miles south. A much larger facility (that we are already outgrowing but has room to expand). We'll be doing future releases there as it can much more comfortably accommodate release day crowds. And it's cool to drink amongst the barrels!
    Since you don't Facebook:
We are releasing Loak and Vin Lee to the public, and releasing the first Keepers brews: Imperial Vin Bu, and The Lily to members only. Release is on Feb 1st starting at 2pm and running until 6pm. We will be taking cash or check only (at least for the time being as we don't have cc processing up yet).
Also, a bottle share will be a part of the festivities if you'd care to participate.
If you have any other questions, please let me know!

As long as weather permits, I'll be attending this. Aside from a tasting glass and a couple bottles for the bottle share, is there anything else I should bring along? Food? Folding chair? Jock Jams cassette tape?

Food is never a bad idea as we don't provide it, but encourage it if you're imbibing. Chair is optional. We'll have some, but you know, if it's your favorite...

    Also,
    Event updated today (again).
Should be even more exciting, with more to come.
Really though, we will be emailing Keepers soon as well. Really.

Edit: I should also note that the release event is at our new brewery, NOT the tasting room.

    ATTENTION THOSE IN SEATTLE AREA

I plan to attend the Feb 1st De Garde Keepers/Bottle Release..
I have a vehicle, though its an 03 GTI so the back seats arent very roomy.

Hoping to find others who will be attending the event.
I am willing to drive, it would help if others could chip in on gas etc. OR i am willing to throwdown $$ for a seat in another vehicle that is making the trip..

I am open to ideas. It could be a day trip, but i think staying saturday night would allow for a much better experience..

Also possibly interested in heading to Block15 in Corvalis for Super Nebula and pappys dark either b4 or after the De Garde Release...

Anyway, I hope there are some others in the same/similar boat who want to spend more of their hard earned $ on beer rather then gas etc.

Just made an account, i will check back regularly to see if there are any interested.

I don't think the OLCC cares. Minors are minors. Welcome to Oregon.

Unfortunately, that's a big negative on minors (no matter how minor they are). Our licensing doesn't allow for it since we do not serve food/have a kitchen. I'm incredibly sorry for any inconvenience!

We will happily accept miners though. Dat gold...

Email (and the second one with important stuff like, you know, the date and time) is out. If it wasn't received, shoot us a line if anyone has a membership in their name/email since we did have a handful bounce back.
Somewhat not surprisingly, the male genders propensity towards illegible handwriting is compounded by alcohol consumption, and we're pretty sure the issue was our inability to properly decipher the email address written down...

    Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Since welcome letters are worth around $250 these days, I'd say you're providing quite a value for the $125 price tag!

And she will want to try everything, so i guess I'll leave my glass so she can come in and try it.
