Is it me or is the east coast/mid west/great lakes beers getting huge hype(they are amazing beers I'm sure) but the trades are getting crazyyy.. our super whalez and hard to find amazing stuff will get us a four pack of KBS! If pugachev royale or PVW Remy came from there.. theyd ask for first borns! I know beer trades and values should be between both traders but some stuff seems impossible to attain due to what the asking ISO are...

I offered a 2013 Parabola for a 4-pack of 2013 KBS. I thought it was basically $4$, but the guy laughed at the thought.

    Parabola .. I've paid 15-17 ..

Yea I'm glad we have plenty great beer here but stuff like prop, huna, DL all seem so tough to trade for.. I'll do it because I really wanna try it.

I always see you reviewing out of distro stuff though. Do you have really good friends ? Or lots of out of state family ?

Aptos... I'm right there with you.. for example.. heady.. great beer.. but so many Cali ipas outclass it... Another is big deluxe by ritual here in CA.. what oatmeal stout stands near it?

It's because a lot of west coast guys trade their whales for Midwest shelf turds.

I hardly do trades anymore. California offers a lot of great beers that keeps me happy.

And you're asking why things are so hard to trade for, because there's people willing to make the trades.
