Missing trader: thezoobrew

This shit is getting old. I don't mean that against you OP, I just mean in general. I feel like every week another bad trader or two come up and it sucks to hear about people getting screwed

It seems like "'missing trader" has become the new word for bad trader. Unless they have been abducted, they are not missing. They have stopped communication and have not delivered agreed upon beer in a timely manner they are a bad trader.

Not railing against you OP, I hope you get your beer. But seems like a lot of these threads lately.

 

Looks like he hasn't been on BA since December 26th. Met Adam at HF last year and he's a solid dude, it's concerning that he's up and vanished on a trade. I know he's friends with @WhereTheWildBeersGo maybe Joey has heard from him and can help out?

 

Adam's a good guy. Usually spot on with trades too. I'll contact some friends who are close with him.

 

My apologies everyone. No bad intentions here, just unfortunate circumstances and terrible lack of communication on my part. I have contacted howopeeps assuring him he will get his package and of how sorry I am.

 

Unfortunate. He stepped up and acted like he was going to take care of this when he was called out, but with another 2+ months having passed, I think "Bad Trader" is the only adequate title he deserves now.

Wow, came into the thread to explain and still hasn't come through!!! He deserves a special place on bad traders list.

 

Reading all these threads while waiting for my 30 days to expire made me really leery of trading.

I had a good experience with my first, but it sounds like there is a real problem on this site.

 

Trade with people who have good reps and you'll mostly be fine. It's def part of the game though that you may eventually get ripped off but I've done over 30 trades and never had any issue at all.

My advice is seek out some good trade partners and do multiple trades with those people...much easier to build trust and a relationship like that.

Over two months later and still hasn't come through? Yep, bad trader indeed.

 

I hope nobody else comes on here now to say he's a good guy and "solid dude"

 

Just relax and work with people that have good trading reps at first... Ultimately you will develop a keen sense of when somebody is screwing around with you.

250ish trades later and I have NEVER been ripped off.

Be cool and use your best judgement and welcome to the community.

 

That's crazy. Sorry to hear, OP. What beers did you get screwed out of? Not sure if I can help, but who knows.

 

Unfortunately, he hasn't been on the site since that last post of his in January, so he clearly has no intent on making good on this. Dick move
