    stuff I drank last night, for my wife's birthday. we went to see "Once" on Broadway (amazing show!!), then nightcapped it at Beer Culture in NYC (awesome bar & staff!!)

    Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner - strangely enough, this went very well with my flat iron steak w/ balsamic butter and root vegetables dinner

    dude the Hi-Res was just huge...11.1% ABV, insanely hoppy (110+ IBUs), very much an extreme beer. not sure I could have put back a 2nd one in the same sitting. well at least not at midnight, lol

    I was impressed with the Dry-Hopped CCB - never had that Ahtunum hop - tasty! the bar also had the Simcoe Dry-Hopped. I'd love to try the Citra one!

    This brewery is brand new and not in the BA database yet. I did submit an addition. Out.Haus.Ales from Northwood, N.H. and one of the four styles they distributed to local beer stores this week. The Out.Haus Stout. 4.6% ABV sweet stout with good coffee esters and flavor.
