Bo and Luke?

    So this beer basically sounds like the pinnacle of beer to me based on what I like. How impossible is it to get this.? I see it here and there in the ISO: / FT, but can't really tell what is fair to do 1:1 for, 2, 3 or 4:1? For instance, would a Boris Van Wink do 1:1? or BvW plus good extras? Or Abyss and Supplication for 1 B&L? Thanks for any help or advice...dying to make this one happen somehow.

    I would think that you should be able to do 1:1 for Boris VanWink. I got a Bo & Luke plus an Imperial Biscotti Break Natale offered to me for a 4 pk of BB Plead the 5th

    Does anybody know how many times this has been released/bottle count? Was the batch with the demo lam guy bottled? Thanks.

    Oh certainly. I got that. But it really is a neat little hack for getting through heavy wax on any bottle.

    Anyway, I don't have a bottle of Bo and Luke, and don't expect to get one, so I'll take this opportunity to sneak out of this thread...

    I have 2. I have a batch 1 that I got for a FB MBCP, and a newer one that I got for a Marshall Zhukov.

    IMO, a Boris Van Wink is overkill. I would think an Abyss should do it.

    For someone in Lexington it should be easy to get so should be able to trade for. Indiana has gotten something like 35 cases so far (awhile ago, it's gone) but I believe we are getting more (but a small amount) in the next month.

    Dude, search titles only in the ISO forum for "Bo Luke" and see what people are offering to get it. And Abyss probably won't do it, that's coming from a guy that has a shitload of Abyss that would rather have Bo & Luke.

    I got one extra'd. At FOBAB it was probably one of the weakest of the style at the entire event. The bottle was better but I wouldn't trade much for one, nor do they trade very high...

    I was just wondering about bo & Luke so I searched and found this thread. A shop I frequent has some and I'm sure they've been overlooked by everyone around here. At 17.99 I'm iffy because I'm not a fan of smoked beers. Is it worth picking up to trade? Besides o.p., is this something people really seek out?

    Edit: I could get multiple bottles.

    I just searched the ISO forum and saw 7 ISO threads for Bo & Luke in the first 20 results ... so there's your answer.
