How much do you drink a day?

im trying to lose weigh so im cutting back. Like a few months ago I was drinking like 2-3 on the weekday and on the weekend it was until I couldn't.

Now I rarely drink during the week, maybe once a week during the weekday. On the weekend on the other hand....
But now it is only when I have friends over or when I go to the bars.

 

Enough.

 

I drink every day. Usually between 2 and 7 beers a day. It depends really.

1-2 12oz or 1pint +12oz or 22oz per 24hour period, every day with a couple days off every month.

 

0 weekdays
7-10 on Saturdays

Gotta keep the mind clear ; the beer gut at bay and the costs down.

 

Some of you are lying your asses off. To be fair I decided to look at Untappd and share what I've drank over the past 7 days

Sunday - 6
Saturday - 6
Friday - 15 (give or take, I stopped logging my beer and shared some)
Thursday - 10
Wednesday - 2
Tuesday - 1
Monday - 2

So yeah, my name's David and I'm an alcoholic.

 

It's seasonal for me. In the summer when it's light outside until late and the seasonal selection is light and "refreshing"... it probably averages out to 0.8 a day. In football season, or as some other people call it, "fall", probably like... 50.

 

I average about 3 per week

 

It depends heavily on cash flow, time, and other factors.

But I would say, probably between 2-4 during the Monday thru Friday stretch.

On the weekend...depends on the time of year. If it's football season, usually enough where my wife has to peel my plastered ass off the couch and into bed to sleep it off. After football season...I would say another 2-4 during the weekend.

So, total 4-8 per week on average.

 

Two to three a day unless we decide it's gonna be a wine/spaghetti kind of evening. On the weekends we're rarely home and at a random little club where all the beer is probably going to suck- (I DJ and the fiancé does laser light shows at events, but their 'one step' up from Bud Light and Dos Equis is Shiner. :/ )

So technically my weekday beer intake is a lot more frequent and allows for more experimentation than my weekend beer intake.

 

The fourth beer always taste the best.

 

The Bishop in "Caddyshack" said it best - "You never ask a Navy (or any service in my experience) man (or woman) if he'll (or she'll) have another drink, because it's nobody's goddamn business how much he's (or she's) had already".

That said it's totally situational. Anywhere from 1-2 with dinner to a 12 pack or bunch of homebrew working on a hot day or out in my garage. One of my neighbors keeps Sam Adams Boston Lager on tap - he isn't particular handy and knows he can lure me over for any job using it as bait. I've gone over to help with something minor and ended up drinking a half dozen pints just shooting the shit. I'll admit to a big drinking problem - there are not only far too many only beers I want to drink/try, but I also like some of our local wines and of course bourbons and there just aren't enough days to cover it all.

2 12 oz or 1 bomber per day. Maybe less but not more. Watching calories because some beers are immense with them.

 

Yeah - one bottle/can/draft (12, 16, 22 oz, etc) = 1 beer. Keeps the math simple as the count increases.

 

1 during a week day after work (sometimes 2 if low abv). 2-3 max on days off. Only time I consume more then that are usually reserved for beer/sporting events w/ buddies. most of the time I only drink half bombers too and save the rest til next day or just reserve then to when I can split with someone.

 

every day pretty much unless circumstances dictate (ie. too busy, sick etc..)
