Oregon Coast with a fire on the beach.
On the boat with friends, enjoying good music and the beautiful PNW.
In a cosey bar while watching the snow come down on the city. I love the walk home afterwards too.
Kalispell Island in Preist Lake. Park the boat and drink all day.

I also enjoy drinking inside, sometime in my massage chair and/or with the foot massager or just chilling on the couch watching TV/Netflix or playing Xbox and just relax.

Good beer is part of the joy of being snowed in.

Any time at home is great, me and my wife open something we like with dinner or watching a movie. Any gathering of friends, add a bon fire even better, at the loacl home brew club meeting, and one thing we look forward to every year is the Medieval Faire, where they serve the local breweries beers in outside "taverns". People watching with friends, Medieval Faire costumes, music, entertainment and a Big Nose IPA really hits the spot!

Every now and then my wife and I will both skip work and take a weekday to hang out. Anywhere during that day where we may stop and have a beer is my ideal setting. Doesn't even matter what the beer is.

in a nice chair near a fire place with good company and sharp cheddar on the table. 50 decibels, cold outside.

or outdoors camping by the fire of course!

I guess fire has to be there for my ultimate drinking setting. Gives you something to ponder as the beer takes over

    1) Surrounded by friends messing around having a good time.

    2) In front of a brainless comedy TV show or movie. Being buzzed greatly enhances dumb comedy. I always break out a bomber for Saturday Night Live.

When the weather is right, outside. When the weather isn't right, on the porch. I fly solo most of the time, so it's only on occasions that I can share a beer with friends.

To me nothing even comes close to lingering in a Bavarian biergarten in late afternoon. It's still comfortable, but not hot or blindingly sunny.
The specific beers don't matter as much since they're almost all great. Just give me a fresh helles or dunkel and I'm good to go.

I hate bars. Hate hate hate hate hate.

Give me a good beer, a couple of close friends, and a warm night in the great outdoors. Or a good book, a frigid winter day with the wind howling outside, a roaring fire, and a nice heavy stout. Either way...it's cheaper than a bar. It's quieter than a bar. It's more convenient than a bar. And my selection is only limited by what I feel like getting from any nearby store.

I enjoy beer in many settings. Not in any order:
    In a boat
Near water, overlooking water ( on a deck, balcony, bluff bank )
Sitting in my shop door in the evening
With friends ( be it a bar, pub, restaurant, or at home )
