Best Setting to Drink In?

Brugge Belgium in the rain. I love to head out from our rental and make my way to any number of bars in or out of town.

 

In the summer my friends and I sit on my deck and hold our "round table." We all bring a different craft brew and drink a little more than we probably should, but the entire night is like an episode of Seinfeld. We'll talk about absolutely nothing of significance for hours. It works for us, as it is the perfect release from the problems of our real lives. For a few hours once a week we get to put aside the problems of reality and act like we're freshmen in high school once again.

Sitting on a lawn chair watching a wild pack of huskies take down and tear apart an oak tree.

 

I like to drink with some friends most of the time. But the best was to come home after work with a six pack I bought with my paycheck and drink. It seems rewarding

Damn, the beach. No phone, no worries, in a chair, surf rolling in, a cold Heady Topper in hand, kids playing. As good as it gets.

 

On holiday or at home in the garden Hate drinking in bars where it's crowded, sweaty and loud

Couple of friends and some good beer in my garden wins hands down every time

 

I love drinking when i am high - the perfect setting

 

The best place for me is at home at my desk or in bed watching tv. Two very relaxing places to drink for me. It's usually nice and quiet and if it isn't it's because I choose it.

 

Out on the patio with a good book, or even a bad book as long as its a good beer

 

Either camping and sitting around a fire or when I'm outside cooking on my Treager

 

Summer. Patio. Fire pit.

 

I think beer can go anywhere and fits any situation, its not about the right setting for a beer, it's the right beer for the setting

 

with my friends, or chillin on BA by myself.

 

Drinking beers with friends and family of any kind anywhere is the best, but when it comes to consumption of special beers, I actually love to be alone with my beer related thoughts in my house or preferably on my porch when it's warm out.

 

Count me as a homebody too. Love sitting on the couch with the wife and sharing great stuff from the cellar, she appreciates it just as much as I do. Or at my folk's place in the Adirondack mountains, on the deck in the summer or by the fire in a snowstorm like we had this past weekend. Or at my father-in-law's in Florida, sitting by or in the pool at night with the quiet lagoon right outside.

I also love drinking alone, writing a review, and surfing BA.

Someone mentioned Stone's beer garden and that's a terrific setting. Also loved sitting at the bar at Tired Hands in the afternoon and shooting the shit with Jean and Magic Man, unfortunately don't live very close anymore.
