I wasn't even there, and am looking for a bottle myself.

But at least I'm not butt-hurt because people got their bottle limits....

 

As the resident grumpy reviewer, I wholeheartedly endorse this beer.

'Twas the best thing we had in two flights at the Blue Nile a while back & I've been waiting to try it on tap again. It was fantastic, again. I hope the bottles are as good, & I'm plotting how to get back to the tap room for more. Keep it up, Indeed!

Indeed. I juggle 3 jobs and was lucky enough to have a couple hours off during that brief release window. Sometimes ya catch a break.

 

I didn't even hear about the release. I just had it at a bar in StPL during their imperial stout night. Guess I need to add them to my twitter.

 

Anybody want to trade a Rum King for a Lift Bridge BA Silouete? As in your Rum King for my BA Silouete?

 

spoke to a brewer at muddy waters, who said they weren't terribly pleased with how rum king turned out, and that they ended up dumping a fair amount of it...think about that! second batch was just brewed as well, according to him, and he said they had made the proper adjustments and that the second run will be even better

Just an FYI. I am the guy with the soda drinking girlfriend who picked up six bottles. Unfortunately my girlfriend has been sick and on medication and unable to drink any alcohol. Barrel aged stouts are her favorite and she probably won't be able to get any one tap before it's gone.

 

Wait, someone on this site made an assumption about someone without knowing the facts and it turns out they were wrong? I'm shocked. I never thought a thing like this could happen.

 

What he's not telling you is that he had to pay a slotting fee to get that spot in line...

 

I'm not as enamored with everything Indeed puts out as some people, but I had Rum King at Muddy Waters and really enjoyed it. The prospect of their next batch being even better is very exciting.

Seems to be a lot of Butthurt going around, almost as much as the beer hoarding. Suck it up.
