I usually use snifters for everything.

I even enjoy hefes from 20oz Guinness glasses. Perfect for most any 16.9oz pours and just enough room for their pillowy soft heads. Still taste just like they do in proper glassware.

I say "use what you've got", unless its a booze bomb and I use tulips, snifters or chalices.

I drink almost everything out of these...

World Market says they are sangria glasses, but they are great for beer. I have a couple of tulips, pints, and pilsners, but I pretty much always go for the goblet.

I've got one Weizen glass that rarely gets used, two Tulip glasses, a Snifter, several Tumbler Pints, and a Nonic Pint. I don't really gravitate to using a particular glass with a certain style of beer, unless it's a high gravity beer then it will either be in the snifter or tulip. Had probably 4-5 different styles last night and used a sizable tulip for all of them, some were light and some were dark.

I enjoy the particulars of glasswares, and all. But honestly. Red Solo Cup. Nothing else comes close for a more honest beer experience than pouring it in a Red Solo cup.

I received the same set for a gift. I especially like the tulip glasses for my stouts. The english pint glass is great also.

Sure, a tulip is probably a little better than a shaker, but it's not that big of a difference, man.

I use my New Belgium globe glass for most beers, but Teku glasses for sour beers.

I got those too, I like drinking soda out of my hefeweizen glass since I don't drink too many hefes. The english pint is really nice though.

I have been using my Long Trail imperial pint glass for just about everything these days. If I have people over that are interested in beer I'll bust out the tulips, snifters and pils glasses, but usually it's just the imperial pint. Unless it's a heff, then that always goes in the heff glass. I supposed if I drank a lot more expensive or at the very least high gravity brews, I'd go with the snifter more or a big red wine glass, but most of the stuff I'm drinking is sub 6% pale ales, porters and pilsners.

I rotate between my snifter, tulip, and pint glass. My favorite lately has been my Duvel tulip I got for .50 at a thrift store.

I like any/most glassware styles but the one I've been finding I don't care for very much is the goblet/challis, even for the big Belgian quads and tripels. I just rarely get any head development and I just don't like the wide mouth. Feels too much like drinking a margarita with such a wide rim and liquid moving back and forth like a tidal wave in the glass.
Most any/ all beers I am perfectly happy to drink out of standard or shaker pint glass for the most part. I know they aren't very well respected but they work for me.

I was just reading the beer 101 glassware on here and notice for Goblets they recommeded Berliner Weisse. Considering the other styles recommended for Goblet, this seems off to use for a Berliner Weisse (very light ABV German sour wheat seems nothing in common with the other heavy Belgian beers).

I broke all my pint glasses, so now I'm drinking everything out of an 8oz. souvenir wine glass from a festival. I just have to re-pour a few times.

Since I don't have any appropriate stemwae, I just stare at my beers and imagine drinking them. Zen Drunk, it's going to be all the rage.
