I haven't seen anything so far, but I cannot wait for it to drop around here.

Bell's site said it's not going to begin shipping our direction until the 20th of January. So we got another week or more. http://bellsbeer.com/blog/

PA has the same date and my biggest beer distributor has said the 27th his shop will have it. Take it for what its worth that's the word I was given.

Look for it sometime after 1/27 in DC/VA. There should be a decent supply.

Any idea if places in DC or NoVa have a wait list for this years release.?

There shouldn't be. In some stores it sat on the shelves for a while. Like every hopslam release there will be a mad dash the first day it gets in, and then when more comes on the next shipping day it will be easily found

Westover in Arlington had/has a waitlist but it's $25 for the 6 pack and $5 to be placed on the list. I passed on that.

That kind of bad policy is bad and makes me sad.

The place sucks for buying the hard to get ones, you can get Hopslam for around $20 just about everywhere, yet these people will charge $30, and people pay it.

Westover has made a habit of offensive pricing for limited beers for years now, and I've seen worse there than a $30/6 of Hopslam, but passing it as a waitlist fee is just sad. Another reason I'll continue to avoid shopping there.

It's always the last place I go to to try to find a beer. Unfortunately they often get the harder to find stuff and more of it. Their prices are terrible though, and to boot they don't seem to know anything about their beer. This year when I called asking about BCBS coffee they asked who the brewery is who makes it.

So ridiculous. Don't shop at Westover!

Am fortunate enough to be in IN for work this week; went to the liquor store Tuesday night by my hotel, there were 30-40 cases piled high, so much different then the NoVA experience. Picked up a 6 for $17, its a good batch this year!

This 100% depends on who you're talking to. Their beer guy knows exactly what this is.

Sad to see all the hate on Westover. They def charge a bit much, but I can say being able to walk in and have amazing beers just sitting there on the shelf is great. Additionally they almost never have a bottle limit, I don't buy everything, but being able to buy two 4-packs of BCBS (or whatever other limited release) vs. having to scrounge about multiple stores just trying to get those two 4-packs is worth paying the extra 6 bucks in my opinion.

Have there been any sightings in DC yet? I was planning on searching for it tomorrow but I'm starting to get the feeling that we may not be getting any this week.

I remember last year we got 5 cases or so at Trader Joe's Falls Church (Baily's) a week or two after it hit everywhere else.
