    This will probably be one of the biggest DO NOT MISS Events of the Year in NC (obviously a biased opinion but true!)

    Saturday, June 23rd 2012 from 1-5pm

    Rain or Shine (We will have several tents set up for outside, just in case)

    Peabody's Wine and Beer Merchants in Boone will be unveiling their cellar for public purchase! Yes you heard it right! This is your chance to pick up some crazy one-offs that were either extremely limited or just blew out the door! If you haven't seen our cellar and are wondering if a certain beer(s) is going to be there the answer is....YES!! If it was available in NC than it will probably be here! This is a very limited opportunity, and all bottles have been stored in our cellars (temperature, light, and humidity controlled) and aged to perfection! If you missed a crazy seasonal or one-off, This is your chance! There will also be several verticals, old vintages, and bottles that haven't quite been out a year yet, but were extremely rare!

    We will also be featuring a "rock star" brewer/owner (details to come) to pour some "impossible to find" goodness!
    This is a free tasting and it will cost you nothing to come and try some great brews!

    There will also be loads of insane wines from the cellars, and a couple of different wine tastings going on, food, and fun!!

    Think of it as the ultimate cellar party, And your invited!!

    Just to add a little icing on the cake we are planning a bottle share in the bar of the courtyard hotel that shares our parking lot, next door, so it will be a block party!! The beer geeks at Peabody's will personally pull some of their secret stashes from their personal cellars in order to add to the fun!

    Details will continue to come, but mark your calendars now!

    YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS EVENT!!

    sounds like a pretty awesome event that I'm definitely going to try to make it up the hill for! can't wait to see what kind of goodness is in that cellar.. Peabody's never disappoints!

    this is just the excuse I needed to make a trip up the hill...did some looking around and it looks like the comfort suites is the best deal at $131 +tax...Courtyard looks badass but is sold out that night..there is a hampton thats $150 and a Dead Carpet Inn...I mean Red Carpet Inn thats like $100 (from the pics I saw you might get a room with a chalk outline on the floor:slight_smile: Really looking forward to it, lemme know if some other charlotte peoples wanna car pool..

    Trying to get a corporate rate at some of the hotels for folks to stay, I will post places to stay soon, we will work out somewhere close....

    Comfort suites is the best since its walking distance to peabodys. Made that trek plenty of times. Also the Fairfield inn on BR Rd. is newer and a bit nicer.
