Bell's Black Note 2014?

    Is this being released this year? If if it is, Bell's certainly doesn't want you to know about it. It's not listed as a beer on their website and there aren't any "events" listed on their calendar about a release. I thought I remembered getting some last year around this time and I'm certainly hoping to get it again. Thank you in advance for the info.

    it's in barrels and will be bottled when bell's believes it is up to there standards, when? time will tell no need to rush a pretty perfect beer IMO

    Unless the information comes from someone with the last name Bell, I would not trust any information out there. Sure, there are employees who do know what is going on but they do not talk, ever. Previous releases have no bearing on future releases. Just because we saw 12oz bottles in distribution does not mean the beer that may currently rest in barrels will go straight into kegs, never seeing a bottle.

    this beer is freaking awesome, taste better outta 750s tho :wink:


    also the 12ozs had the date on them, appearing it would be released yearly rather than just the batch number on the back. but it thats the case 2013s are turnin into 2014s

    Had it on draft tonight at CC Tap House in Kzoo but nobody could confirm if it was a new batch or a keg of 2012 even though Laura Bell was there.
    Personally it tasted different to me but that could just be the difference of keg vs bottle since this is the 1st time I recall having it on draft

    I just has this gem on tap in Minneapolis. Tasted fantastic as always!

    Confirmed it was kegged 1/09/2013

    I live in Kzoo and know a few folks who work at Bell's. I've heard that it's not ready yet, and may be as late as summer or early fall.

    It doesn't mean anything because all Bells beer has dates on the bottles.

    Yes. We received bottles in NC last time it was bottled. It was very limited.

    Minneapolis got 4-pks and kegs last year most shops were 3 bottle limit
