Morning BA! I miss you guys. It's been a long month. This is my first day off since January 5. At least I have been racking up the overtime though.

Right now I am just sipping on some Surly Coffee Bender right out of the can. And this is from last night.

The temperature is up to -10. Reason enough to celebrate with one of my polar vortex conquering favorites. Cheers gang, and stay warm if you're stuck in its wrath!

I wish it was up to -10. I'm sitting at -21 with -45 wind chill in Duluth.

Freaking Austin... 2nd "Ice Day" in 4 days. It was 75 on Sunday and I spent the day out at Jester King.

    Friday: High of 37
    Saturday: High of 76
    Monday: High of 61
    Today: Currently 24

Having an Odell Wellspring that got stashed away in the fridge. Switching to some heavier stuff as the day progresses. Might as well enjoy my day off.

No school again today. Maybe warm up with something bigger later, but this is tasty right now. Only -10 this morning without the wind chill.

Finished a night float shift and it is time to have a beer. This should do nicely, but I haven't tried it before. So, I'm going to drink this....

Then go ski down this. Who needs sleep?

I had a couple cans of Fullsteam Cackalacky while making spicy salsa this morning for when the girl gets home from the early release due to the impending doom that will end all of existence here in the Triangle, NC (3-6 inches of snow--or whats also known as we still have recess outside back home in Ohio).

Yeah, every once in awhile. I go to Canal Park Brewing Company and Fitger's the most.

Tough to make the front page with all the snow days in the Midwest! Enjoying a Saison from Beer'd with lunch (bagel with brown mustard, fresh horseradish, and provolone).

Beer'd continues to put out solid brews. This is a non-funky Saison, pretty good for the style. At 6%, it also makes for a solid lunch beer. Of course, now I've got to finish that growlette off either tonight or tomorrow. #BeerDrinkerProblems

I drank a Howlin' Chinaski by Short's a few moments ago. I wish I had bought two, because I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

Now, I'm qualifying as an alcoholic, as I'm drinking a Labatt Light and watching How I Met Your Mother... to be FAIR, Labatt Light is better than the "Big Three" American varieties.
