I have been looking for the information of this year's KBS release party. I would like to purchase the ticket to Founders' KBS release party so I don't have to wait overnight in the line in Grand Rapids! Any helpers? It would be my first time going to KBS release party.

lots of problems with your question.....first, KBS was a line up, first come, first served until 2012 when the sleep-over, line-cutting, limit-cut, snowpocalypse happened. Last year they started having a ticket release but it just guaranteed your 12 bottles between a few days to pick up. As for the party post 2012, you walk into the brewpub (no tickets needed) on the day of the event, get KBS on tap and watch some live music. They weren't so many special things on tap last year but that might change now that constructions done.

OP - hasn't been announced yet. The day the tickets go on sale, they'll sell out in about 30seconds, so be on the lookout .

Get a good computer with a fast internet connection. Plan to be online to get tickets right when they go on sale, site will probably crash a few times. Saturday is the best day since they will have it on tap then probably.

Yep...I did think it was pretty crappy of them not to have it during any of the pick up days except saturday...

If they are using Eventbrite as they have for the last few backstage releases, and not Brown Paper Tickets, the site should at least function.

Wrong, the website will crash immediately. Everyone will think tickets are sold out, mass chaos will ensue, people will make angry posts on these forums. Slowly over the next hour a few people will get through and purchase tickets as they frantically reload the website.

That was when they used BPT instead of EventBrite. It also happens to be the last time they used BPT for an event.

Bolt cutter was on BPT before 2013 KBS, obviously those worked exactly the same.

Sorry I was thinking of Doom. It wasn't too bad. KBS '13 was definitely an anomaly anyway

I'm sure whatever ticket site they use will experience some sort of crash.

Perhaps, but Eventbrite is a company that actually has the proper infrastructure to handle some amount of load on their servers. I'd pretty much guarantee it will go a lot smoother than last year.

You didn't hear? Cigar City burned down last night. My condolences but there will be no Hunahpu Day this year.

They released it yesterday, the 2011 version. It's all gone now!
