Anyone interested in a Chicagoland Ba golf outing?

    I just want to see if there are enough people interested to persue this idea...

    The date and location would be discussed later, but I'd lean towards late September or early October (when the busy season and hot weather have died down a bit).

    I think it would be cool to do a partner style outing-- maybe a 2 man scramble on the front 9 and a team skins game on the back (though that can be discussed as well).

    If we got a group of 20 people we could get a banquet room and have lunch at the turn and a dinner/awards ceremony afterwards. I think it would be cool to have all the participants contribute a bottle to the prize pool and the winners of each different category gets to choose their prize.
    Categories could include things like:
    -longest drive (in the fairway) one 1 hole
    -closest to the pin on a par 3
    -best team score on front 9
    -best team score on back 9
    -best team score for the round
    -prizes for winning a skin. (this would determined based on seeing ALL the scorecards and allowing for rollovers amongst the entire field).

    So... Before I begin contacting courses, is there anyone interested in playing?

    I would probably be in if I'm free. I haven't golfed much since moving to Chicago a few years ago.

    I warn anyone who plays with me, I am not very good but I do know how to drink on a gold course.
