pretty sure most stores only hold the FwB stuff for a week.

of the BA stuff, the Majestic was my favorite, but they are all excellent. I thought the mouthfeel on the BA Imp Jones Dog improved drastically as it warmed up, so i'd let that fucker get close to room temp before drinking.

 

I thought a few of those were "oops, those weren't supposed to be on the shelf..." bottles?

I believe you mean The Murderous, and I agree, I liked them all but that was my favorite. Base seemed to hold up best to the barrel.

 

Wasn't there a 'sloppy seconds' program coming, or did that pass already?

 

Yes, sloppy seconds are on the horizon. No it did not yet pass. PW have said they'll update when details are finalized.

We're working our micro-dicks off (even Kate) and should have mega news to share, that'll make up for all the 100 times we already said that before and nothing ever happened… =p doh haha :::keep fingers crossed and send positive vibes our way!::: Yes, Sloppy Seconds is still going to happen, and yes there's still about 2/3 of the first BA stuff in the basement waiting to go out to our FWB and then SS/public… We have another 30 full barrels (~55 beer barrels, or ~15,000 12-oz bottles, some 25-30 year old Heaven Hill barrels too!) in the basement right now aging with another 30 bourbon/rum barrels soon to be filled that should be released around FoBAB this year (so another ~15,000 bottles). It'll all be worth it next year (2015) if we can get this shit done! Jesse White Tumblers FTW
