What beer are you drinking now? #469

Bill triple IPA's aren't for me either. Of course I never tried the ttoegs mango IPA that was 11% from their scratch series. I bet they did a good one.

 

The ratings for the Troegs are all over the board. Not unexpected, me thinks.

 

So happy this is back and is now year round, one of if not he best Cirtra Hopped beers out there!

What a brew!! And...every time I hear that song, I always think of Stephen King's The Stand.

 

Avery Samael's Oaked Aged. Gonna wait a few hours and then go to Liquor Shed for a Howler of Deschutes Pine Drops IPA.

 

I have errands to run but hopefully will be enjoying a BCBS later. I bought a bunch of hopslam and in all honesty...it's okay. I wouldn't search it out again.

 

Gonna be mine too! Daughter is home from college for the weekend, and we're going to go out for sushi as a whole family! Working 2nd shift this is such a treat once in a while. Then when I get home, I will join you all in your "Enjoy By" endeavors.

Found a cellared bottle of the Bruery's Rueuze - damn good! Then to my obligatory Yuengling Trad, to be finished with microwaved leftovers and then to start the Ten Fidy! Ciao (and chow) baby!

 

Drinking a mild ale I brewed. Something I just threw together with left over ingredients.

Wow - this looks goood! And where is the Cloverleaf?

 

My mom paid 16 bucks for four hop slams yesterday and shipped them too me, I told her to go back to the store and tell them to go fuck themselves and never buy there again, extreme price gouging is not ok!

 

This is actually my first time having a full pour of this beer. I'd previously only tried it at a Whole Foods tasting. It tastes more like a Black IPA to me than a stout. Whatever it is it's delicious.

 

First time trying, it's alright. Not super complex.

 

Not a typical winter warmer, but a well done beer regardless.
