JR you wanna know what those remind me of? Paintings by Degas. Where the dancers are lined up but they all are different. Different int their expression, in the point of their toes and different in the stray hairs that adorn their faces.

    =) Happiness is real.

Not a bad brew, It just seems like bad advertising. If they just said "raspberry wheat beer" it would make more sense. Too much Raspberry, not enough Hefewisen : p

I've been feeling a little under the weather lately, so not only have I not been posting, I haven't enjoyed an evening beer at home in a few days. I'm feeling a little better today, so I'm rectifying the situation with my first try of BCBS Backyard Rye.

It's very good. I still prefer base BCBS to the variants I've tried (BCBBW and BCBS Backyard Rye; I have not had Rare, Proprietor's, or BCBCS). It's very good, though, and the berries do make an appearance, making it a pretty unique beer.

Been sipping on this beer for almost two hours; definitely a long-term investment!

I generally consider it a bit of a faux pas to post "What Beer Were You Drinking Yesterday?" in this thread, but I really didn't feel up to it. At lunch, I went to the Malted Barley in RI, and had (in addition to some awesome food):

Wookie Jack. Hooray for more Firestone Walker on tap in CT! Such a damn smooth black IPA.

Enjoy By on tap! I wasn't blown away by the February edition in the bottle, but on tap it was pure awesome goodness. Super fruity and smooth.

Very appropriate, even if I didn't technically start drinking "this morning."

    Cheers!

Just tried Heady Topper, which was great but not the mind-blowing experience I was unrealistically expecting. Comparable to Sucks (which, admittedly, underwhelmed me the first time I tried it, so I will withhold final judgment on Heady until I have had a few more). Odell Myrcenary is still my favorite DIPA.

You know at first this beer was to much to handle. Way to much hops that it became a slap of grapefruit in the face. But after finishing the whole four pack, I've really grown fond of this one. Incredibly hoppy, and supremely delicious!
