Great IPA. The best I had so far. Cheers!

Sam Adams Escape Route. Its a good drinking beer. It pairs well with cold pizza. Just got done with work time to go to sleep. I hope Phil doesn't see his shadow.

I am officially halfway done with my residency training in Family Medicine. This was a treat for me and the wife. Delicious! One of my favorite Cantillon, up there with Fou Foune.

Damn you, Punxsutawney Phil. Damn you and your diminutive shadow.

Drowning my sorrows over 6 more weeks of winter with the VITUS challenge. Go Broncos.

    Green Flash Palate Wrecker 4.06
    look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Love this brewer. Consider this hop wrecker an experiment and not a regular beer for me.

A: crystal clear, burnt orange, bright clarity. Pleasant white head that lasts and laces. modest pinpoint carbonation
S: All citrus, pine, sharp hops. Acute, bright, tight, not much malts.
T: Follows the smell, but more complex, and nuanced, dank, herbal, pine and grass add to the citrus brass.
MF: Sharp, tingle, bitter. But interesting, kind of like a liquore, cointreau or a brandy. Good in that way. Good to let warm and drink like a brandy.

More of an after dinner brandy that an IPA. Interesting to let warm and let flatten. Good both at cellar temp and warm. Odd one.

Too much? Yes! but well done, and interesting. Yes! I am nursing with some chocolates and late night reading.

My beer lineup for Super Bowl Sunday (with some Smuttynose Durty on standby).
I'm making vegan chicken wings (now there's an oxymoron) and chili.
I will be rooting for the Seahawks.
    Have a great day, everyone!

Had big expectations on this one. But its a very thin beer. Not bad but a lot of hype on this one imo. Had beer geek brunch weasel some days ago and that one was mindblowing.
